Firefox 3 had a good day
June 19th 2008, Posted in NewsAs expected, Firefox 3 easily beat their target of 5 Million downloads. In fact, they doubled it with the grand total finishing at 10,230,930. South Africans increased their efforts in the last few hours, and our total came to: 21,433. The most downloads came from, unsurprisingly, the United States with 3,227,000 downloads. Germany came in second with 823,792 downloads, and Japan in third with 497,048. Spain, France and the UK also had a large download rate, falling in around the 300,000 mark.
All in all, it was a good day for Mozilla, and it's now time for us to test out their new browser. You can view a map of all the downloads at SpreadFireFox.com.
